Good day Sapience.

I am proposing to begin a fund to raise money for the restoration of
Thera. This will probably require several million gold.
I was born there, many decades ago. I lived there for quite a while, and
both my son and I were going to get married there. Believe it or not,
some Mhaldorians do appreciate art and beauty and I'm one of them.
You need not fear that this is a Mhaldorian plot. I have asked several
city leaders and you ave my word of honour that all monies collected
would go straight to my home village. A Dwarf-lord's word of honour,
particularly not mine, is never given in vain.
I feel that genocide, no matter what your beliefs, is immoral,
particularly when inflicted for no other reason than anger and by a
people who can only count as alien outsiders.
To all the Vertani out there, you lost all pretense at being reasonable
when you flattened Thera. Consider yourselves genocidal maniacs and
perhaps you might realise the enormity of your crime.
