To Hingar, a clarification, and a note on peace

First, I would just like to clarify that I intended no disrespect to
Lady Keresis' order when making the morality call between righteousness
and revenge. I am basically making a clear distinction that the act of
destroying Thera was not, in my opinion, a righteous act, and instead,
was done out of vengeance. Lord Estan can never be brought back. He is
dead, with thousands of other Vertani. So are the Therans.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WE CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT.

WIth that out of the way, Hingar, we have both been dealt harsh,
permanent blows that have scarred both of us in different ways. I cannot
comprehend how the death of your leader has shaken your people, but I
can say that the events at Thera has left many of us cold and
distraught. Our people are more similar than you would think--we play
the game of attack-counter attack quite well. We can argue and
successfully defend our moral high ground for engaging the other in
warfare, and most importantly, we both lost something dear to us in the
last few days--one of the most prominent, respected Vertani in sapience
(in addition to countless unnamed Vertani), and the hometown of Nicator
himself. Consider that, Hingar, when planning your next course of
action. I can understand that you may not want peace because you'd be
losing face, it would be cowardly, but after this point, there is really
nothing more we can do to one another to expose how nakedly weak we are.
We killed your military leader. You destroyed our most steadfast ally in
the blink of an eye. We cannot get more exposed than this, Lord
Diplomat.

-Sincerely,
Ardesco A. Moonflair.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Sarapin, in the year 386 AF.
