Your words are indeed soothing to the ear and very well articulated, I
commend you for this. You have explained how death is different between
your people and that of our people, I can understand the frustration you
all have on this knowledge as well. As you and now your people do
understand this difference in death between us I must assume that it
brings even more concern to you on waging war here, for as your race
would dwindle to possible extinction, ours would not and as your forces
dwindle ours would remain the same. The power you hold now couldn't
possible last in the face of all out war.

I too was one of those you called "hot heads" but you must understand
that it is passion that drives most of us. What you call animalistic
excesses of our baser natures we deem as strength and that basic nature
within each of us is what helps us to survive in this harsh untamed
world. There are some of us, like myself, that actually take great pride
in the ability to accept as well as to tap into that basic animalistic
nature. Just because we do so doesn't mean we are animals or should be
treated as such.

I do not know about your world for you have yet to explain it to us, do
you have many types of races there as we do here? Does all of your
people accept one single belief or is there multiple belief systems as
there are here? Did you in your past or even present history conquer and
melded into your "empire" other worlds or even your own? What is it you
and your people actually want in this world especially since you now
know how violent it can be?

To us in this world most fear the unknown and you have yet to explain
enough about your people, your ways, and your beliefs. There are allot
here, including myself, that see how you present yourself and listen to
how you speak as if you was conquerors that look down on any that are
not like yourselves or believe as you do. You appear to want us to
change our ways and beliefs to fit yours and it seems you will go so far
as to force your own way of life onto us. It matters not if this is true
or not, what does matter is that its perceived as true. It is up to you
Hingar to convince us not only in words but also by actions to dispel
this perception if it is not true.

"Overlord Estan was rightly exasperated. In a moment of anger, he
over-reacted. It is unfortunate that he allowed himself to be provoked."
As you stated Hingar, so apparently you as well give in to animalistic
excesses and in a fit of rage you decided to destroy a village and
became shocked by us wishing retaliation. I have to believe that you
underestimated our resolve and our passion for freedom. I assume you
have never met a vast majority of races that hold such high regards of
free well that we shall fight and even sacrifice ourselves to protect
it. Think of what you seen and read, then look at your own beliefs
carefully for you are the guests in these lands and it is you who need
to learn and adapt or at least accept our ways.

The first thing I feel you should learn is that any single person in the
city of Ashtan doesn't represent Ashtan as a whole so when someone from
our city attacks one of yours they are to be your enemy, not the whole
city. This is a small part of the freedom we hold so dear.
