Hingar's lies

If all of these losses you come to whine to us about are so terrible,
why are you still here? You know where the way out is. If you're just
'explorers,' why are you still here? Surely you can go and explore
somewhere less violent, with peoples more easily "explored" (conquered).
I am inclined to believe that none of this is actually true. None of
your actions are consistent with those of a peaceful,
exploration-oriented people, nor are they consistent with a people who
risk so much with death. You have nothing to gain by continuing this
fight, all you face are more deaths. For the sake of exploration? You've
had the chance to look around, there's nothing more for you to see here.
If death is so horrible, your people must be the biggest group of
dim-wits on all the planes to continue putting your lives on the line.
It is becoming clear, Hingar, even through your eloquently twisted
words, that there is more to your people than meets the eye. We might
seem like 'neanderthals' to you, but I can assure you we are not all
stupid enough to miss such obvious clues. Peddle your false God, and
your fork-tongued lies somewhere else, O "diplomat," the people of
Sapience have no need of them.
