And also to the Archprelate, Meri, and her Prelates.

"When war ravages the landscape, spilling needless blood, satiating its
thirsts of power and conquest, we grow more resilient in the face of
atrocity." - The Constitution of Shallam.
"4) PROTECT THE INNOCENT" - The Fourth Commandment of the Holy Codex of
the Church of Achaea, as penned by Deucalion, God of Righteousness,
Aurora, Goddess of Light, and the Lady of Vundamere, Tarah Concordia.
I have but two questions for the residents of Shallam, and the members
of the Church. They are honest questions, made in the desire to learn
more.
1) Are these texts out of date, and awaiting amendment, as they no
longer represent the philosophy of Shallam and her citizens?
2) If so, is one of the amendments that you should protect the innocent,
as long as they've never been killed by Ashtan, or that you shall be
resilient when war ravages the lands, unless you dislike the other
inhabitants of the lands?
Surely these instructions are supposed to supercede the actions of
others - simply because someone from Ashtan has, at some point, in the
past, upset or annoyed you, does this mean you ignore your own duties?
I mean no offence - this is simply what I understand from the posts made
by Solar, the Sultan of Shallam, and Latus, a former Sultan. Both, I
believe, are fairly prominent Church members as well.
