Thera

At the Summit that we Vertani called to discuss how to co-exist
peacefully, Overlord Estan was traitorously attacked and slain by a band
of Ashtan and Mhaldorian malcontents. For this, there can be no
forgiveness. Punishment must be made and price paid, in full.
Because Overlord Estan was the son of Overlord Drafaris's mother's
cousin, Overlord Drafaris requested of the Ascendant that he be assigned
to replace the honourable deceased Overlord Estan. His request was
granted, and all Sapience will benefit from his benevolence.
Unfortunately though, as mentioned, such a serious transgression as
murder of an Overlord cannot remain unanswered. Just as you would punish
a naughty child who steals cookies from the cookie jar, so we must
discipline some of those involved in the murder. As such, Overlord
Drafaris commanded 4 Magelords of House Tsez to accompany him to Thera,
whereupon they administered the punishment for Sapience's betrayal: The
utter destruction of Thera. Consider your hands slapped, and understand
that it hurt us more than it hurt you. We do not wish to have to use
violence, but your barbaric ways give us little other choice.
Penned by my hand on the 9th of Glacian, in the year 385 AF.
