Greetings, Nimby.
Your inquiry is a valid one. In essence it boils down to, "How can one
determine the effectiveness of a defensive force?" I utilised the most
simple tactic to address this question that I could devise: I recalled
an answer given by the mayor of Thera when asked how she felt about the
defence of her town by the forces of Ashtan and Mhaldor. She expressed
in no uncertain terms that she was pleased, and would continue to
support our presence.
While your deep concern for the economy of the town of Thera and the
fate of those that set foot within its boundaries is admirable,
personally I would place a great deal of credibility in the testimony of
the town's mayor.
Respectfully,
Khoraji,
