Greetings Everybody,

As most of you know, I am currently running a lottery for a guild
fundraiser. I started this project a mere 4 months ago, and have
already managed to sell approximately 550 tickets out of the 700
I intended to sell. Since I never expected to sell these tickets
so quickly, I have decided I will try to sell an additional 300
tickets, bringing the total to 1000.

Now, some of you may be thinking "But that's not fair, you said
there were only going to be 700 tickets. Now my odds are worse!"
Never fear My Friends. As a result of this plan to increase ticket
sales, I will ALSO be adding a new prize. In addition to the 200k
Grand Prize, and the 50k Runner Up Prize, I am introducing a new
Second Place Prize of 100k. This will actually increase your odds
of winning a prize if you do the math correctly. The reason I
introduced this new prize was two-fold. First of all, I did not
think it would be fair to have people spending a good amount of
money on this lottery with only 2 prizes to win. I would feel
badly for everybody who did not win, especially those in my
guild who have helped me so much by buying many tickets to assist
my fundraiser. Secondly, it will give more incentive to people
who may have been hesitant to buy tickets before. This should
hopefully increase ticket sales and allow me to draw the ticket
numbers sooner.

Finally, an update for everybody who has bought tickets already
or was simply pondering over the idea. A Top Hat WILL be used
for this draw. I have just received word that someone is able
to lend me one for the lottery. The way the draw will work is
I will have 10 letters, each containing the digits 0 through 9.
All 10 will be placed in the top hat and 1 will be drawn. The
digit on the letter that has been drawn will be the first digit
of the winning ticket number. The letter will then be placed
inside the top hat again and this process will be repeated to
get the final 2 digits of the winning ticket. One thing to
note is that I WILL NOT be drawing the tickets. The draw
will be held in a public location and I will choose 3 random
volunteers to draw one letter each. The letters will be
signed by myself so they will be easily identifiable and
it will make it harder for someone to scam drawing the letter.

I will announce the exact time of the draw once I have almost
sold all of my tickets. If anybody is interested in seeing
current ticket holders, you can contact me privately and I
will provide them before the draw. This will hopefully
reassure you that this is a completely legit lottery and
not a scam.

If anybody is still interested in purchasing some tickets,
you can send me a letter to me with the correct amount of
money for the number of tickets you wish to purchase and
your name. You can also contact me if I am in the realms
and I can travel to you to pick up the gold and give you
your ticket numbers.

I remind you again that this is NOT a scam, but a guild
fundraiser. 80% of the profits will be donated to The
Warlocks, and if this were to be a scam, I would be
bringing nothing but shame to my guild.
