I am a humble monk from the Vashnars, many of you may not know me. That
makes no difference.
To the people of Vertani,
I address you all ad equals. Like many other races you have arrived here
and i feel you deserve as much respect as I would give any other race in
Sapience. But i offer as much caution and suspect as I would of anyone
else in Sapience. I see you perform peaceful acts and try to defend the
innocent with all your might, using what ever power you can to stop the
slaughter.
I see you cause slaughter too, brandishing mighty magick and powerful
weaponry at those you fight. Then again, we of Sapience are just as
capable of both actions, so this offers us no reason to suspect you.
what does then?
Trust, fundamentally you have been honorable and respectful to all of
Sapience except when we have asked you a question that earns true trust.
Why did you come?
Why Hingar? Do not see this as a accusation of a crime, but as a request
of knowledge so I can trust you, answer me this. Answer us all this,
even your greatest foes, and maybe they will be your foes no longer.
I notice some of you have been bestowed with the Title of friends of the
Vertani, I respect your decsision as much as i respect the suscpicion of
the Vertani, it is nice to see that some will trust those who seem not
be to be trusted, i hope this is the beggining of a forged alliance
between the peoples of Sapience and the peoples of the Vertani. But
alas, i cannot join you until my one question is answered.
Hingar, i understand as friends you will want to know about our people.
You might know alot already, feel free to ask me any question you wish
in return.
I make these statements of my own will, they are just my opinion. I will
not see it as insult if the Vertani do not reply, I imagine they are
rather busy. I just needed to ask this one question.
