To the novices and newer citizens of Mhaldor. I cannot say "Leave behind
your city, abandon Mhaldor now!" although I would probably like it if
such happened, but I know that many of you have taken a great decision
to delve in the other spectrum of what is undoubtedly our humanity,
evidenced in the murals of the Logos halls. Yet certainly even you tire
of this war. If for any chance your leaders still seek to be at war and
you do not seek to find yourself in such feel free to contact me after
you have left a City that seems to not worry about your future maturity
in Evil.
Do not get me wrong I believe firmly that one should only leave behind a
city when their ideologies conflict entirely with said City. But if
Mhaldor does not care for the well being of its newcomers and novices so
they can mature and become the greatest followers of Evil then it might
seem you have chosen the wrong City. For even the City of Evil should
worry about its newcomers much like Sartan has for his people, even
though in his own strange way. For even long ago, at one time, Mhaldor
suffered Sartan's wrath as stated in the Book of Daemons. Yet even
Sartan himself did not seek to perpetually torment his followers as he
could have easily done so seeing as he is a Divine one and 'forgave' his
people. So even the great one of Evil shows 'compassion' and 'mercy'...
although as I stated in his own strange way.
So it is my hope that your leadership also show 'compassion' for its
newcomers, much as the Divine Evil One has shown for his people, and if
they intend to stay at war and you do not wish to leave Mhaldor as I
have stated then at least let it be known to your leaders to strike at
least some sort of treatise whereas Vertani will only attack those of
Mhaldor who are stronger UNLESS a novice attacks a Vertani whereupon the
novice then becomes subject to being enemied much like the older
warriors of Mhaldor. In this way you can nurture freely until you are
strong enough in Evil if that is the least of your desires. May you
someday turn from Evil and walk in Light novices.
