The City of Mhaldor

Greetings Sultan Latus,

My place in this world is of very little reputation, and even fewer
friends. However, as a man that served Lord Sartan for a good share
of his life, I feel entitled to speak...

You encourage the men and women of Mhaldor to leave for themselves,
to save the strength they have worked so hard to get...

What you do not seem to understand, is that a life ending does
not bring about weakness, good sir... Instead, through the Seven Truths
they learn to overcome petty fears such as death, loss of worldly
possessions, and other such things that concern the majority of
Sapience...

The Tyrannus Khoraji, is entitled to command what he desires of those
who call Mhaldor home... Mhaldor is not a democracy. It is a theocracy..
He rules by choice of Lord Sartan, because he has been seen as the
most capable to do the job, in the Malevolent One's eyes...

Those who would leave Mhaldor due to death, truly have no place there to
begin with... Because if they leave over your cries of death, they
truly are weak and have no place there...

As I'm sure you'll notice, I am no longer a citizen of Mhaldor, a city
that
I called home for some fifty years, and still retain ally status with.
Why? Because I am too weak to deserve to call myself Maldaathi, and too
weak to deserve a home as grand as Mhaldor... Where men with honor and
true valor walk the streets, and bleed due to their dedication to Lord
Sartan -- not just to Tyrannus Khoraji...

So with all due respect, good sir, unless you understand everything,
it's
often best to remain silent as I do on most occasions.

In Darkness,
