Greetings, Sapience.

I come to you with tidings of the Kharon sponsored monk class
tournament. The participants include four "champions" of the guild,
selected by the GM in whatever way deemed proper. After the champions
were selected, a randomly matched pair of combatants fought in the
arena. The winner gained a point to their guild, and passage to the next
round, while the loser is cast out.
The guilds involved are the Kharon, the Ashura, and the Sentaari. Here
are the results of Round One!

-Guild Scores-
Kharon - 2 wins, Ashura - 2 wins, Sentaari - 1 win

Ashura vs Sentaari, Rennyn vs Najara - Winner, Rennyn
Sempai Rennyn Sehr'asa, Ashuran Warrior says, "Thoughts? Err, was fun,
nice fight."
Brief fight
Mistress Wasp Ariye Najara Sa'Rithven, aka Naja the Raja says, "I
suppose I just wasn't fast enough. I was down purely to damage from what
i can tell."

Ashura vs Kharon, Darklyre vs Ashen - Winner, Ashen
Sempai Darklyre Corten, Dragon Soul says, "He hits hard."
Master Ashen Seir-Corten, Faithful One says, "We are closely matched, he
just happened to hit my guarding first."

Ashura vs Kharon, Farrix vs Durent - Winner, Farrix
Durent says, "Wasn't much of a fight, but I did learn quite a bit."
Sempai Farrix Stormcrow says, "He showed skill, however he's still
learning."
Sempai Farrix Stormcrow says, "Was a good fight."

Ashura vs Sentaari, Reyn vs Icargus - Winner, Icargus
Gunsou Reyn, Meijin-Ashur says, "I did my best.. I have no kaido.. only
trans tekura."
Grandmaster Icargus Navarne-D'lajess says, "He's got a good idea in
varying his attacks. He only hit my guard once."

Kharon vs Sentaari, Arcos vs Kishpa - Winner, Arcos
Grandmaster Kishpa Kanth, Silver Scorpion says, "Well hes to tanky for
my strat."
Grand Master Arcos D'Ischai says, "Well, what decided the match was him
attacking my head after axekick, when i'd switched my guard."

Kharon vs Sentaari, Tali vs Styrkan - Winner, Neither, Tie
Both combatants were forced to disqualify themselves due to time
constraints and other factors. All in all, I got a mutual agreement to
just make it a tie.

And there you have it. The results of Round One. Get ready for Round Two
and may the best monk win!

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Valnuary, in the year 376 AF.
