Greetings Khairt,
I'm glad you noted the state of the Mojushai and that it has not
improved, yet lessened since the inception of the new study Paths. Do
not interpret this wrongly, I do think the Paths were a great idea but
as you say they are unfit for a small guild as the Mojushai. Perhaps in
time when the Mojushai grow to levels akin of the Runewardens, these
Paths could be reintroduced. I myself lost the motivation to reach new
ranks as the demands became more and more time consuming. Even more
since my Path teachers were not available a lot I had to wait years for
a test, and by that time my memory of some requirements had faded into
oblivion, causing me to fail my test. Don't get me wrong, I erred
greatly but I couldn't bring myself to do another test since I already
spend a lot of time to excel in my studies.
Also I noticed that there are only a few members who have higher then a
lvl 3 rank as Mojushai. Not only that but I hardly see any of higher
ranked among the Mojushai when I am in this Realm, but I could be wrong
about that. Eventhough Mojushai do not wish to attain wealth or status,
I believe that promotion of rank should happen more often as gratitude
for the service of that particular Mojushai. It will make the guild
strengthen as whole with more powerful members around and motivate
people in helping others.
As for your plans to change the Paths. I'm willing to help out, but I do
not have the time for the position of Secretary. I will ponder more on
the ways how new Paths should be. I hope I can meet you soon so we can
talk about this in person.
Be well,
