Basic assumptions

Trenia,

While writing my post I was assuming a few things. One: That there is
more to the world that the simple good vs evil. I assumed that someone
wanting to be good had joined say the Dawnstriders instead of the Naga.
Two: That your basic ideals already suited the guild otherwise you
wouldnt have first joined it. Three: People change and as we change we
often seek other guilds that the one we first joined to help with
whatever path we wish to walk.

Quite often the point I am trying to present is lost, I put it down to
my horrible writing skills. I also assume that anyone that wishes to
maybe talk to me about my post will send me one of the numerous personal
ways of communicating with someone other than posting more onto a
already crowded board.

Never once did I say anything about class over the guild, I never have
been a member of one of those guilds that has a common class. I am a
strong believer in you join a guild for the guild not for the class. I
also didnt talk about any actions, Im talking about our own personal
right to be our own person. Im talking about being able to do what we
think is best to boast that of our guild or in some cases higher ideals
than that. I am no Paladin but I assume the ideals of the church are put
higher than the guild, like to a forestal, nature is put infront of the
guild.

Why should trust be broken, not because of someones actions, or words
but because of rumour or mistrust of another organisation or even
because a guild leader has a personal distaste for a person or group of
people? Why should guildmates suddenly need to look sideways at other
guildmates because of something a third party has said or done but in no
way has that guildmate done anything wrong?

Seeing as your thinking this post is personal, which in no way is it, I
will speak personally and of things Ive never spoken of before outside
of dearest friends. I am a Sentinel and a Lupine, I put nature before
all other things even when the line is grey. I belong to a dear family
once, but because of something as stupid as a Pandorians prank I lost
trust within that family. I tried to go away and I tried to grow out of
what I still think is childish thoughts, I tried to return and all was
good. But then someone else of then low ranking but now high ranking
memeber I was given little choice but to leave that family with the
words and dont come back echoing in my ears. I believe there is really
only one guild out there that is suited to you, some similar but only
one is the right perfect one. When you find that guild it is bliss and
if you are forced to leave it due to whatever reason, it hurts and
always will. I know what its like to be thown out by a ultimatum, which
is worse than outguilding because it gives the illusion of choice
without actually giving you one.

We are all individuals, we have lived different lives so of course we
are never going to see eye to eye on everything even if we are all
members of the same guild, we all help the guild in different ways. I
say let our actions and words speak for themselves, we already put the
guild higher because we joined it right? We all have a different path
and although we are linked by common goals etc. we are also very
different people and we should be allowed to honour that difference, if
I meant that we should hurt the guild by that difference then I would
have said so, but I didnt. Things that affect the guild should be dealt
with and shared within the guild, things that dont affect the guild have
no reason to be brought up in the guild.

I forcused merely on one part of the guild because of my own reasons,
just because I didnt mention something doesnt mean I said wrong of it.
These posts are already to long as it is.
