an Oath.
Written by: Liroram Cydane, Neonate of Chivalry
Date: Monday, September 6th, 2004
Addressed to: Everyone
This oath I hereby write to be witnessed by all of sapience,
whether divine or mortal. Goodly or evil, I now have ye witness.
I do this in formal form as such an action deserves.
This oath I do pledge, upon my soul's destruction only
shall it be broke, upon the withered remains of the empty
husk that I should be, if my honour empty my body that it be broke
I swear this before all Sapience, great and small.
I Liroram Cydane, for matters of insult on my honour, and for
the callous lack of concern shown my feelings by one whom I would have
held naught but respect, and indeed did honour above others for
monumental accomplishments that affect me most profound.
Having seen mine own pedestal upon the which I had, her placed.
Shattered
and my view broken so that the flaw of she whom I speak
did come forth, into plain sight to my agrieved eyes.
I do, in all heavens name, by those I hold most dear swear
most solemnly, and of cool voice that henceforth
the one known as Czanthria in mine eyes once pristine. Now I view
with contempt most ill fitting her enobled stature.
I do swear, that from now, till time's end be done
have done with.
Baring all witness to my claim, I committ this to the halls
of eternities memory.
I do however, should I recieve just apology, recind this,
for reasons of things changing with time.
Until that date though, shall this stand.
Sworn and signed, Liroram Cydane
Penned by my hand on the 1st of Phaestian, in the year 372 AF.
