Greetings everybody,

Finally! I thank you, the great and wise leaders of Ashtan for finally
making it illegal for your own citizens to kill orphans.


As your city rules state:

"Ashtan Law 1: Any unsolicited aggressive act against a citizen of
Ashtan by a citizen of Ashtan will result in the offender losing
citizenship. Any unsolicited aggressive act against a citizen of Ashtan
by a non-citizen within the city of Ashtan will result in the offender
being branded an enemy of Ashtan. In both cases, a fine of at least 5000
gold will be imposed."

"Section B: All beings marked as loyal to a citizen of Ashtan are to be
treated as citizens."


And as the great Logos wrote, last in public post 3994 which I will

Long ago I settled the question once and for all, sending Servelan into
exile on the Plane of Chaos for lying to me. I will repeat, and I say
this with absolute, irrefutable authority: The Loving Heart's Orphanage
exists to kill children. It does not make orphans happy. It murders them
in cold-blood.

Shallam law states:

"3.1-Any attack on a sentient being within Shallam is illegal. An attack
is the initiation of aggressions, by any means, which are done with
intent to harm, frighten, or kill the victim."

"5.1-Forcibly removing any citizen, including orphans, from the
boundaries of the city, will be considered kidnapping and said kidnapper
will be branded an enemy immediately. Accidentally straying outside the
city is not a crime if the citizen is immediately returned to the city
once the error is discovered."


The obvious conclusion must be that orphans are now protected by both
the Ashtan and Shallam governments, a state of affairs which I know many
have prayed for for many years.

You citizens (as well as strangers) will obviously not be allowed to
bring orphans to the Orphanage, which exists (as the Logos state) only
to kill them.
