Greetings Achaea,

For those of you who know me, I apologize for that 20 year absence...but
that is not why I write this post. I'm writing it because of something
that I took for granted over these last two decades...my daughter,
Goldmoon.

Over the past 20 years she has done incredible things, many of you know
her as a secretary of the Sylvans. She has raised a brilliant son (who
I've only heard about and hope to meet soon) she has met a man that is
so good to and for her, even as a father I cannot complain about him
*g*. And while it saddens me to say it, all of this that she has
accomplished was without me. I would like to thank Anoshia and Antreus
Atreide for taking my daughter as your own and succeeding where I have
failed for 20 years. While my journeys were not easy...I had no excuse
to leave my daughter fatherless for so many years. So, from the bottom
of my heart, Anoshia and Antreus, thank you for being her parents...all
I have proved to be is a name in her bloodline.

Earlier, I finally was able to speak to my pride and joy. She
was...surprised to say the least. But she didn't react like I had just
been gone for 20 years...she obviously was shocked I had returned. But
not once did she shove my own inability as a father in my face, not once
did she seem to be mad at me. She actually forgave me for how I nearly
abandoned her, she said that it was meant to be... And not only did she
do ALL this, she has helped me get back on my feet and helped me restart
my life.

I just have one question...How did I deserve her? There's a simple
answer...I don't...

I hope one day, Goldmoon, I can live up to being you father and not just
some guy who you knew 20 years ago. I love you, I just hope I can gain
your love.
