Sigh

I know not all the details of this latest inflamation, so I will not
presume to take sides or pass judgment. I only wish to issue a warning.
As those of you who know me might know, I have a soul that is prone to
wandering. My spirit has resided in many a realm, and the events in
another one, very similar to this, give me great discomfort at seeing
such widespread and vituperous dischord.
Perhaps I am overly cautious, but such overwhelming ill-will has a
tendency to fester and spread and consume more and more and effect other
matters.
In the wanderings of my soul, I have seen similar situations spin wildly
out of control, until contention and incivility ruined most all aspects
of life for even those with no reason to be involved.
Eventually, many spirits left that realm to find respite from its bitter
hardships, leaving it a largely broken and empty shell of it's formerly
great self.
I love this realm dearly, as I did once love this other realm in another
life. and I would be most aggrieved if any such fate should befall this
realm, as I'm sure would many others.
I ask you to try, whatever the conflict, to maintain some level of
civility on the larger scale, that our society as a whole will not be
poisoned and brought low by this ultimately temporary dispute.
Thank you for your time.
