Prythe -

Of course calling me an idiot is not PKable. Words should be fought with
words, not force of arms. I've called people idiots many times, though
usually preferring more subtle circumlocutions. None of them came after
me for it.
Besides, for an insult to be an insult, the addresser as well as the
addressee should be taken into account. Nonetheless, thanks for your
support, and welcome back.

Elsp -

You'll have to forgive me for my earlier reaction to the spectacle
of someone who has made a career out of whipping up hysteria against
Mhaldor, thereby significantly contributing to the siege mentality
that has seriously damaged the Forestal Community, suddenly wanting
a piece of the action in a conflict between the Order of Thoth, the
Tanjinn, and one of their former members. Such touching reconciliation
was a bit too much for me to stomach, and indeed, upside down it went.

But do not deign to lecture me on Guild loyalty, or indeed, loyalty.
You were not there when I left my Guild, and you have no knowledge
of my reasons for doing so. During the time I was a member of that
Guild, my oath remained unbroken. I still retain my loyalty
to the underlying principles and ideals that drove me to become a Druid,
and I have always held loyalty to those higher than loyalty to any
mortal
organization.

And during my time as a Druid, I developed a strong distrust of
those who would frivolously abuse the powers granted to them by the
Forests in
ill-advised conflicts with Mhaldor, who would, indeed ally themselves
with cities in senseless wars where Nature was not involved - it was
that which
caused me to leave Eleusis, as you well know.

And I particularly developed a strong distaste for those who relish the
sound of the word "traitor" in their mouths too much, and upon whose
tongue it rests all too lightly.

And it is that, which, together with my Druidhood, guides my actions
now. There are a few people in the world whom I would at least listen
to,
should they question my loyalty. You, Elsp, are not one of them.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Mayan, in the year 370 AF.
