Maim de Vermiis

Noktal,

This is just a short response to your "case in point". Hopefully this
may bring light to the situation for others as well.

Maim de Vermiis is not an innocent, in fact she is rather far from it.
If you have ever looked around the maze below her mansion, you may
notice a good number of rather small zombies. Rather child sized, in
fact.

Maim is an occultist, and in her search for knowledge, she has done many
experiments. Many such involved children, and I believe she accidentally
used her own nephew in one of these. His death is her own fault.

I believe here I'll need to also write that you should not miscontsrue
my meaning to say that all occultists are bad. I'm simply saying here
that that her being one is one of the factors that leads her to her
search for knowledge in which she devised such an experiment.

Knowledge can be sought in many ways: Those who do it recklessly and
endanger others who have done no wrong for no other reason than their
own personal gain are not innocents, and should reconsider their
menthods of investigation.

Sir Lereas Sparrow

(Of course, all views expressed in this post are solely mine, and not
necessarily those of any organization I am a part of)

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Chronos, in the year 368 AF.
