Or is it?

Whilst many people would pass through life under the misconception that
Selene�s Order is about bunnies, flowers and an over enthusiastic need
to camp it up like a row of tents, some people actually stop and talk to
Her or one of Her Beloved to find out what all this Love and Beauty
thing is all about.

But Bannor, you�re a knight, a Runewarden you big pansy! Aren�t you
supposed to be finding new ways of bludgeoning a felled opponent with a
variety of arsenal? What in the blood-lusting soul-reavers of Underworld
are you doing flinging philosophical flights of fantasy in a faction
whose function is finding fluffy fings to focus on?

Yeees� indeed *chin*

Perhaps it is not about those surface elements that seem so easy to
label and categorise. Perhaps it is discovering something rather more
profound and intellectual. For Selene gives you an opportunity to better
yourself through complete and total understanding, seeing controversial
issues in a light that perhaps you thought you could never perceive
before. Selene is not a Goddess that champions Shallamese Goodness, nor
does She castigate Mhaldorian Evilness. For belief and faith are side
matters to greater understanding of truth. For to see truth, you cannot
have bias. Open your eyes; open your mind, find truth in yourself and
your surroundings. Understand the real meaning of Beauty and learn to
wield the power of Love.
