The Infernals were an Ashtan Knight guild. we were a guild on Honor, and
evil. When the infernals fell, and became what are now known as the
Maldaathi, they became a guild of Evil, and honor. dont mix the two up.
An infernal placed his word, and deeds above everything. I remember a
time, before Hwolf took his absense that he told me with his own words,
his vision was to place evil above all. so while the Maldaathi are made
up of former Infernals, a great many of them do not live by the old
codes anymore.
There are always exceptions to every rule, and if i wanted to, I could
name them off. Im not saying the Maldaathi are honorless, they simply
hold a different set of values than the scattered Infernals throughout
the land.
When the Maldaathi, and eventually Mhaldor came to be, it brought about
a new era for evil Knights. these new knights hold nothing in common
save 1 thing. and that is Necromancy.
It could be argued that the Infernals were created to serve Sartan, and
of course that is true. it comes down to a simple thing. Honor, and
Evil, or Evil and Honor. I chose Honor. most Individual Infernals chose
the same. Most Maldaathi rogues also.
Dont be so presumptuous to dictate what an Infernal is or was, as
clearly you dont know.
On a side note, I dont think i ever recalled an Infernal using the ISSUE
ability, and asking for divine intervention. Good is supposed to combat
evil, and evil is supposed to combat good. its natural. when Shallam,
its allies, or its church bang on your gates, show some honor, go fight,
kill and die. not cry to the gods about how unfair life is. you made
your choice, now live with it
