Felisse and recent events

First, to Felisse.

You outsmarted nobody. You were a coward that hid behind the scenes,
selectively doled out information and used simple lies and bully tactics
to accomplish what you wanted. This doesn't take intelligence, it takes
muscle, demonstrated by that fact that your minions grew stronger and
learned new skills each time we met.

As for Eleusis being paranoid, violent and disturbed. Our village is not
one that centers on economic growth, so it is not unreasonable that we
were cautious of a newcomer who proclaimed that as his goal. The extreme
violence you mention was initially brought upon by visitors refusing to
leave the village peacefully when requested, the consequences being the
same as what would happen to any individual who has been enemied to a
village or city in Sapience. Later incidents were nearly all initiated
by your assassins, striking villagers as they went about business in
their own home. Why would we not respond? This hardly seems to be
"disturbed" behavior.

Lastly, your motivations were transparent and, frankly, boring. Gold?
What an original goal. We never would have guessed that. Oh wait... we
did... So you can take your 3 million and shove it... where I won't say,
because this is a public forum. But I am sure a depraved, "cunning"
individual like yourself can fill in the blanks.

Now, to all of Sapience.

Please take summaries of recent events with a grain of salt. I, for one,
witnessed a great deal of inter-governmental cooperation, with a
diversity of citizens from across Sapience coming to the aid of their
allies in an incredibly confusing situation. Though our guards
apparently let criminals commit heinous crimes under their noses without
alerting us, and our resident loyal villagers seemed to suffer from
chronic amnesia, I believe communication was indeed fruitful. Eleusis
and her allies were strong, acted decisively, and eliminated the threat
within its boundaries. -That- is what I call a victory.

As a final note. Some may agree with me, some may not, but I am not
speaking for Eleusis. These are my personal opinions based on my
interactions in the events, and what I witnessed happening.
