this is a short announcement for a small project of mine
regarding an unofficial combat league.

i will be holding ffas in Cyrene pretty often, and i will keep track of
everyone
in there, including who kills who and who comes in first, second,
and third.


details:

- at the end of the league, the winner receives 20 credits,
second receives 10 credits, and third receives 5 credits,
sponsored by House Alexandrian and myself.
- you dont have to register, and there is no fee to
participate in the league as such, but all ffas will be
held at 3 gold per level. that money will go to Cyrene.
- i will set the maxlevel to 98. sorry dragons, but i want
some suspense.
- no organization or person will be denied access to a
league ffa.
- any use of artifacts, loyals or skills is permitted.
- each arena kill scores one point. first place gets 15,
second 10, and third 5 points in addition to these.
- if you die without a crediting message, like bleeding to
death or masochisting yourself to nil health, i will only
be able to add one point to the winner's total score if
a) its obvious who fought (either coz i was watching or
you came out second which pretty easily lets me conclude
who beat you etc.) or
b) the loser lets me know who beat him/her.
- if the remaining two combatants cannot agree on a specific
setting for their duel, such as no groves, no vibes etc.,
and either of them heartstops, no points will be awarded
for first and second place.
- if both opponents agree to end the fight with one of them
heartstopping because the fight was so drawish that no end
was in sight, both will be awared -5- points and count
as coming in third ex aequo. this is to avoid insider
agreements to make both combatants gain 15 points without
fighting.
- if you heartstop for any other reason, you lose 3 points.
- the first league will run until the end of year 364.

so, basically, plain normal ffa with a couple of arbiting rules
put in to make it easier for me to assign scores and keep track
of the standings.
