Anu, thank you for the lovely last post it was just that, quit splendid
in my opinion. Made me chuckle, indeed it did . . . indeed it did . . .
*Ponders* To clear up your first point . . . the number of ex-Mhaldorian
leaders that have been treated like Darknight is very short indeed . . .
a lot shorter than those who still holed highly respected positions
within our society. In some ways, respect is more important than rank
when it comes to Power . . . in any culture.
Finally, if you stay in Mhaldor through fear then you are weak and will
never clime to the positions of the leaders you hate so much. You do not
have it in you and shall remain a drone. That is your (free) choice. You
(freely) chose to be controlled by fear and there for you shall be
treated like a Dog. In the same way that at one point in your life you
(freely) chose to join Mhaldor, to turn away is a betrayal of the oaths
you swore to (freely), and there for you must meet the consequences for
your actions (freely). Which, it has to be said, you agreed to (freely)
apon joining the city.
There are many ways to leave Mhaldor and many have left Her side with
out fear of reprisal. Although blood will most probably be shed, why
fear death? If a different environment to live and thrive in is what you
secretly crave, what you need to become strong, at least have the
strength of character to stand up for your beliefs and not go whining to
non-Mhaldorians about how depressed and un-happy you are! Pah!
You have the freedom to choose.
Use it; you wont be missed if your chosen path deviates away from
Mother Mhaldor's guiding embrace.
