I see recent events involving you as a good insight into the community
spirit of Mhaldor. While you're the boss, everyone agrees with you,
everyone respects you.... but as soon as you fall, they leap onto you
like a pack of wolves and tear you apart.

Look at yourself. That is what happens when you place trust in your
fellows in a city which is truly a cesspit of selfish, backstabbing
cowards.

And so I appeal to all citizens of Mhaldor, who are chained down by
harsh laws and weak-minded leaders such as Kaelin. You are taught to
dread even contemplating leaving Mhaldor. You are terrified of the
consequences of so-called 'betrayal' of your city. Open your eyes: this
is not the case. If you truly reject Mhaldor, you can leave it behind
and start anew in a free city; Ashtan, Eleusis, Hashan, Cyrene,
Shallam... all let you be your own person and make your own decisions. I
can't begin to count the amount of times I've spoken to Mhaldorians who
despise their leaders, people who say they are not truly evil but feel
trapped by Mhaldor. The solution is a simple one. Think about it.
