I respect your curiosity and i myself hope this doesnt become a fight on
the public posts. Though i will tell of you my view on your question and
i feel as someone the desires to service Lord Thoth, i should answer
this.

Death is by no means close to Destruction. Death doesn't go about
destoring things for no reason. Destruction to myself is the taking away
or destoring of things for no reason. Death on the other hand, does have
a reason for its being. We may at times never know what those reasons
are, but they are one.

Yes, at times Destruction can take away lives, but not very often do i
see it helping Death out. Destruction is normally done but those that
feel killing things is the answer. People that do this, are upsetting
the cycle of life and death.

I really dont know all the answers though. If they are related by any
means, i dont personally see it. I hope this somewhat sheds light to you
in your quest to find the answer.
