What is Lord Lupus?

What is Lord Lupus? The Master of the Beasts? Yes. The Lord of the Hunt?
Once again, yes. Let me ask you this, however. How often is He ever
called the Lord of the Forests? Never once have I heard this phrase
uttered by the men and women who surround me. Perhaps it is not one of
His most popular titles, and it very well may not be a title that men
wish to call Him. However, as many of you know, He, in companionship
with Demeter, guides the men and women of Oakstone.
Does this not qualify Him to be a Lord of Nature? To understand this
completely, we must consider what a forest truly is. A forest is a
wooded area, composed of plant life of many kinds, and also, wild animal
life of many kinds. Without Lupus, what would there be in the forest?
Plant life: Trees, shrubs, bushes, etc., and nothing more. No animal
would stroll onto your path, grunting its way through the forest to find
its next meal. No eagle's cry would be heard, the forests would consist
of nothing but plant life. In my mind, the beasts of the forest make up
the forest as much are the trees of which it is composed.
This simple realization, this truth, is that without Lupus, the forests
would only be half-complete. Demeter is called the Lady of the Forest
and, with this in mind, should not Lupus also be called the Lord of the
Forests? I believe it is quite deserving of the title, however, if you
do not think so, that is your choice. The fact still remains that His
involvement with the forests demands and requires the respect of all
forestals.
Now that I have established that Lord Lupus does indeed deserve the
respect of forestals, I would like to point out that the Pack, as a
group, follows Lord Lupus in all His ways. This includes, of course, His
role as Lord of the Forests. We will never harm the forest and will
always, if anything, rush to protect it. I have not seen any respect for
the Pack in relation to their dedication to the forests as of late and
this may be due to any number of reasons, but the fact still remains
that we do worship the Lord of the Forests. This fact that we worship
Lord Lupus as the Lord of the Forests also deserves the recognition of
all forestals in the organization of Oakstone, as well as all other
people anywhere.
I look forward to seeing the Pack become more closely woven into the
weaves of Nature as I wait for a response from the organization of
Oakstone to formally recognize the Pack's allegiance to Nature.
