What is Death? This is a question many of us ask ourself at certain
times of our life. Some call Death an act of evil. That those that
perish are due to evil or rather are evil. Better yet, i have even heard
that Death is only performed by the evil. Now, i hope most don't feel
that way toward Death. I am here posting my feelings today, about how i
feel Death is and how it is related to us all. Hopefully, i might show
some that feel Death is evil, something new, and see that Death is part
of us all and doesnt belong within the lines of good or evil.
Death to myself is nothing at all what i would consider to be the "End."
What makes Death in itself become the End? Maybe, its a halfway point in
our journey with our souls. What i am trying to get at in this is there
is no for sure way to tell that Death ends anything. Who is to say that
Death ends Life? Maybe it continues our life in another way. Our souls
might live for longer times than we know and the bodies they are placed
in at this time don't come close enough to lasting as long as the soul.
The process we all consider to be Death, were we are no longer part with
the world, is really just the soul in a body that can't contain living
anymore. Things we all should take into considernation.
Now, what makes it so that Death is Evil? Is it because that when those
close to our heart are no longer there to hold, we take it that the
Death of them is an act of pain, which is Evil? For i really can't see
at all in my heart or soul on how a natural process in nature is to be
evil? We all live to die, there's nothing more to it. Not anyone here is
born to live forever, if thats the case then what would be the point in
our lives? Wouldn't after awhile we would just find ourself to be
pointless? This idea is very troubling to my mind, yet i am only a
mortal, i am not to understand everything before me.
I would like to address the cities of Cyrene and Shallam to just think
about what im going to say. For it is fact that these cities don't allow
their own citizens to follow Lord Thoth, i address this part to you. As
i have asked around and been told by certain high members of these
cities, that they dont allow their citizens to follow because of one of
these two reasons: Lord Thoth is Evil, or is related to the workings of
Evil. Now, by going off of just that, i want some of you that believe in
the ideals of these cities to ask yourself one question: If Death is so
evil, or related to it, then aren't you in a way just saying that all we
do, as people of these lands, is being a product of Evil? I mean we all
must die sometime. There is no way to escape it, nor should we. I see no
problem with Death coming to me, i embrace it as a Child of Nature.
Things in nature perish, be it with the wolf hunting a rabbit for food,
to a tree falling in the forest. Good does come from Death. When tree's
die and fall in the forest, it beings new life. It makes home to dozen
of animals, plant life, and insects. Also allows for younger trees to
come up and rise just as high as the one before it did. The wolf, hunts
the rabbit for itself or possibly for its own cubs. It keeps the
population of the rabbits down and when their are to many wolves, they
die off from the lack of rabbits. In turn then the rabbit population
rises and the process is continued again. That shows us that nature and
death work along side itself to keep everything in a perfect balance.
Now, im not really here to say, "Follow Death!" or "Join Lord Thoth's
order". i did this post in hope to give people out their some insight
about some of the things Death does for us, that we may never see if not
shown. Also, i was curious by what i heard from some about Death that i
wanted my ideas out in the world. I would like you thank you all for
your time, and i hope you enjoyed reading this, as much as i did writing
it
