You recently quoted Rhakshai as saying: "not deadset against the idea of
looking at our laws and considering their fairness"

Perhaps what he didnt add was "providing we can still use forest
defences in a manner that will guarantee regular payments of amounts up
to and over half a million gold!"

Considering it costs, what 500 gold to rejuvinate a forest area from
extermination, and replanting is virtually free, aside from taking a
little time, how does Oakstone justify fines of this amount?

I am also curious how Oakstone justifies forest enemying, and subsequent
fines in excess of 20,000 gold for slaying of treekin.

Protecters of the forest, or harvesters of wealth?

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Scarlatan, in the year 359 AF.
