And Lord Barak, of course

My good friend Molotov,
You state a few good facts and I am not here to debate your
interrogative technique. However, perhaps Lord Barak is talking
metaphorically, in as much as the mountain was dropped upon him was
symbolic for his very existence collapsing around him. Not a very good
analogy, I'll admit, but the borderline insane are entitled to not be
terribly lucid.
Also, the Blackrock Dwarves, as a publically recognised seperate
political unit, are technically entitled to form their own clan, even if
it is not recognised by the rest of Kongol Drak do not recognise. But
this point we can discuss elsewhere.
About the medallion of Lord Phaestus around the neck of the cleric
Grima. I had a small jet statue of Lord Sartan in one alcove of the
bathroom of my Shallam manorhouse, directly opposite the slightly
smaller silver statue of Lord Phaestus. I am proud of my Dwarven
heritage and just as proud of my fell connections. If I had the power to
master necromancy and demonology as the worthy Apostates have, I most
certainly would do so.
The Duergar - a field even my enemies would have to admit I'm most
qualified to talk about, being Chieftain of Clan Duergar itself. The
term "Dark Dwarves" applies mostly to the negro skin of the Clan's
Dwarves, the dusky skin being a sure sign of Duergar blood. However, as
you well know, the Duergar also welcome all those who are exiles, those
who spurn Lord Phaestus as the creator of our kind and those Dwarves who
share evil inclinations.
As such, to you Lord Barak, I offer you a boon. Let no Blackrock hurt a
Duergar and I shall ensure the reverse. Also, to all Blackrock Dwarves
who wish to join an official clan of Kongol Drak, I throw open Clan
Duergar, as the clan of exiles and spurners of Lord Phaestus, to swear
loyalty to Duergar aims at your leisure.
It will be a pleasure working with you, Lord Barak, if you choose to
take up this offer of friendship.
For Evil and the Duergar!
