Greetings Barak,
Although I have not spoken with you personally, only dethroned you
several times (but you keep comming back), I have been accumulating the
wealth of knowledge you have divulged to various persons. From these
conversations, under the guidance of the Lord Smith and his clergy, the
following has been divulged:
1) FIRSTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - You Lord Barak have trouble working
out fact from fiction.
2) The conversion of the Dwarves of the Blackrock was not of their
freewill, it was the result of experimentation and the administration of
pain by Lord Sartan.
3) Grima Flameforge was the catalyst of the Malignant Ones
administrations and from there it spread through the caverns.
4) You claim that the mountain fell on your head, a lie as the mountain
was tossed into Lord Caspians domain which is not where you were.
5) You claim that Phaestus never tried to aid you, however Grima
Flameforge in one of her more coherant moments has admited that gifts
from Lord Phaestus were given. You avoided answering the questioning on
this issue.
6) You state you had a mountian dropped on your head however you
yourself were not alive during the transition to the Blackrock, another
clear lie.
7) You claim that Sartan helped you become strong, however you were
allready strong and you avoided the questioning when asked if you needed
help to be strong. Isnt that a weakness?
8) Grima's journal states the ground you came to was stained red. Lodi
has surmised that the inter-genocidal wars of the Vashnar dwarves caused
this staining. However this can be dismissed as you refered to the stain
as the red stain of sartan, not blood stains. Jerh'mias has also stated
that the only genocidal war the dwarves ever faced was between Clans
Deurgar and Clan Shattered Stone while Phaestus was trapped in his
hammer and this occured in the Northern Wilderness.
9) Grima records an illness infecting the clan in a journal and you deny
this adamantly. However everytime I return to your halls, Gringor is
sick in a cell and I must cure him again, clearly showing some form of
infection.
10) The writings on the walls of your own Halls state that despair and
subversion was used to take control of the Clan from Phaestus, clearly
showing a lack of freewill being used the birthright of all Dwarves
11) You state that Sartan has given you the power of the Stone. All
Dwarves are born with this power, it was not given to you. However when
asked to show this power you instead summon a Daemon who also
contradicts some of the previously stated facts. Not to mention everyone
knows you cannot trust a Daemon.
12) Grima still wields her sacred warhammer given to her by Phaestus and
his holy symbol, a mithril hammer of phaestus surrounded by rings, while
professing her worship of Sartan. I have checked with Jerh'mias who has
confirmed that noone truly devoted to the Lord of Evil can wear such a
medallion nor gain the power of the warhammer of Phaestus. I have been a
worshipper ever since he was freed from his entrapment, and his Hand for
almost all that time, yet even I cannot yet wield the warhammers.
Jerh'mias is the only cleric known who can. If Grima was taken by the
Malignant One she also would not be able to do so.
Everything that has been occuring has been very interesting to myself
and the other Clergy, Lord Barak. However only one thing remains to be
discovered - How to break the curse of the Blackrock. I now know without
a doubt that great evil has occured within the Halls of the Blackrock
and the Clergy of the Smith will not rest untill it is banished. The
changes that occured there went against everything that was Dwarven, to
such an extent you even dismissed your own laws.
Know Lord Barak, that Phaestus still smiles upon that clan in the
tainted lands and ye will be free of the taint that has corrupted the
souls of so many.
Also in reply to some questiosn you asked of the Chosen of the Smith but
their knowledge was not sufficient to give you an answer I shall
accomodate you now.
The Blackrock Clan is not in the the Dwarven Nation as it is not an
ancestral clan of the dwarves. As a member of Clan Hammerhead, the
Lorekeepers of the Dwarven Race I can assure you that there has never
been such a clan before and Phaestus never created any group of
Blackrock Dwarves. Dark Dwarves are Deurgar not Blackrock. After some
research I am fairly certain the Blackrock Dwarves were once apart of
the Kazak Uruk clan of Dwarves and your knowledge has been removed
somehow. This is evident as most of the members of your clan are larger
than normal dwarves, if you ever bothered to look at them, and this fits
perfectly with the Kazak Uruk Dwarves who are also predominantly found
in the Dakhota Hills and the Central Vashnars.
I thank you for the time and look forward to learning more from yourself
and your people so we can once and for all end this blight on your kin.
