First of all, to Qwilleran, regarding Post 12255. Perhaps you should
consider whether you would serve your Guild and Nature better by not
posting on the Public Board, for I think this is becoming a bit of an
embarrasment to your Guild.

Now, onto the general matter. I am a Neutral isolationist rogue Druid,
and as such I would not join an Evil Druidic or Forestal Guild, should
something like that ever come about. Yet I have repeatedly exhorted my
associates to study the relationship between the philosophy of Evil and
Nature, since I believe that by doing so we may refresh and deepen our
understanding of both.

Creating a pro-Nature position within Evil and an Evil position within
the Naturalist Community which is, to my understanding, what Floralei
and Kirath intend to do is not an easy task. That extermination is an
action against the Forest is of course obvious - and any Naturalist
organization cannot compromise on this issue, regardless of alignment,
as I am sure Floralei and Kirath know. This said, I do not believe that
there is anything _inherently_ anti-Nature or for that matter pro-Nature
in either the philosophies of Evil or Good. Should Kirath and Floralei
succeed in what they have set themselves out to do, I would welcome the
development, without being part of it. Why? Because the Forestal
Community as a whole would become less politically aligned, more diverse
and thereby stronger. Pluriformity ensures adaptibility, and survival,
as any Naturalist should know. Besides, durable peace between the
Forestal Community and Mhaldor has been on my wish-list for a long time.
Getting there would entail compromises on both the Forestal and the
Mhaldorian side. But any attempt at bridge-building will have a positive
effect.

Anyway, there have always been Evil Druids, but now they are getting
organized and are here to stay. Perhaps it would be more fruitful to see
this development as a challenge, to both define mutual differences and
yet common ground, rather than as a danger - or rather, as a development
which holds both dangers and opportunities for a better future.
