As a citizen of the Bastion, I am proud to welcome You back to our
humble city. Though I wish I could have been the first to publicly
rejoice at Your return from Your extensive travels, I am content with
being the second.

Recent times have led to some stagnation, aye, and us mortals are well
known for making rash decisions, especially when it appears there is no
light at the end of the tunnel. Though I am sure that You are well aware
of all the unfortunate circumstances that have taken place.

I look forward to seeing the great things to come in Ashtan under your
Matronage, and have the confidence that You will do what is in Ashtan's
best interests.
