I hereby declare Moghedu secure, and have ordered that our armed
forces stand down.

The emergency has passed. With the help of many, all of whom I am
unable to thank here, we have repulsed the attempt at annexation.

The invaders of Mhaldor were worthy enemies, all the more so when
we brought the power of a substantial portion of our army to bear
in the active defense of Moghedu. Mhaldorians, we salute you! Your
will to engulf us has been frustrated, and our power demonstrated:
now, let us commence the true work.

Our helpers came from nearly everywhere. Many have we thanked in
private. I thank you here as well. Your craft and skill were great,
and used in a most worthy cause. Doubtless this demonstration of
support was costly to you, and some paid with their lives. Our
gratitude is great.

The doors will soon be opened again. A peace-keeping force has
been detached from our regular army and will be deployed throughout
Moghedu in the coming days: a small price to pay for the added
security.

We welcome traders and adventurers of all kinds, even those of
Mhaldor, though I suspect that this welcome will not be universal
for Mhaldorians, at least during this time of rebuilding and recovery.
