Hello everyone, yes this might seem a surprise to you all, but I have
decided to run for the position of GM of the guild. I have thought for
many nights about ways to make the Shadowsnakes a better guild. I have
set up some plans and steps that I will take to set this action in
motion, I would like to add that my, �campaign� if you will, promises
action and things being done in general. We have had many a GM in the
past promise such actions but none have delivered, the reality of the
situation is we need someone new to take up the position, someone who
will not sit by lazily and will take up action against enemies and will
work out deals with friends. Khalid who is our current GM has set up the
building blocks for the foundation to build the house that I want to
turn this guild into. Rinoa, who was the GM before Khalid and has been
GM many times in the past was a great leader for her time and helped the
Shadowsnakes become better with her accomplishments, Rinoa was the first
one to teach me about the ideals of a Shadowsnake and how to better
myself as one. It is simple to sling mud at maybe this person and that
person saying how bad they are but who ever points out the good parts of
everyone? Well I will not be slinging mud at anyone even if they wish to
sling mud at me, I will however defend my point of view whatever it
takes.

My course of actions will be clear and easy to understand, I wish to set
up new positions within the guild and put secretaries and who ever
wishes to be said positions in them. They will be Head of Combat, Head
of Novices, Treasurer. I would like to put some aides under each of
these positions of course, Head of Novices is already explained and Head
of Combat is also very explanatory. Treasurer will be the person who
counts the in flow of money into the bank and money out of the bank and
they will also be responsible for helping the Snakes maybe receive
better herb prices from dealers making deals with them for the selling
of their herbs to the snakes. Also they will act as an event staff
setting up guild related events at opportune times where there may be
prizes for winners and losers alike. I am hoping that using this type of
system I can unify some of you so there is less fighting and bickering
around the guild channels. On that note I would like to say that I will
be continuing mostly Khalid�s strict, NO FIGHTING amongst guildmates
rule. I will NOT tolerate fighting over GT, if you wish to have a battle
of words do it in tells, I WILL of course allow a debate over a sensible
topic, as long as it doesn�t degrade itself into mud slinging and slurs.

Now, I�d like to inform you what I wish to do with the Novice system, I
will keep Nubbins as acting Head of Novices and work with him to change
some of the system around to suit the begging snake. Also I would like
to change around the probationary system to better the Snakes. I would
like to implement a brand new system of Guildfavours, yes you heard
correctly. I would like to have it so that all those off of probation
and into full Snakehood can receive guildfavours for certain tasks. I
would like to make some of these tasks like donating 5k gold to the SS
or for winning FFAs and other events that are going on. I am always open
to any new ideas for this system as it is still not perfected, and I
would like it to be so. Also I would love to set up a standing active
Matron/Patron but I will get into that if I am elected, as that is a
very touchy subject to discuss. I hope I am elected and that you see me
as a reliable and valuable leader, I will of course try my hardest to
make the guild what it needs to be, and I won�t give up.
