Enchantments and the such

Coran: You said it yourself...you are a rogue. Remembering what the
treaty used to say doesn't mean it still says that. I've seen many an
instance to indicate that the treaty now allows action against those who
purchase/use illegal enchantments. If I am wrong...I am wrong, but then
I would think that when I hear someone complain about being enemied to a
magi guild cause they possess one that we can legitimately complain. Do
not take this to mean I do not agree with you, those who possess an
illegal enchantment should not be punished.

Kitt: I humbly ask that you do not involve Cyrene in a guild/class
matter like this. If the Arcanists wish to enemy someone for violating
the treaty, do so. Having a city enemy someone for it is wrong. The
person did nothing to harm the city, even if your reasoning is that by
possessing the illegal enchantment they can bring harm upon your guild.

Bambi: I thank you graciously for providing a service to the young ones
of the world and keeping prices down, but you should in turn be more
careful. I do not know if there are things/services you are not supposed
to provide due to guild rules, but I think you should be wiser in your
selection of products. Putting illegal items up for sale is an affront
to those who do not wish their proliferation. While I think enemy status
is a little much, asking that you remove the items shouldn't be beyond
your ability to aquiesce to.

One more word...let guilds/organizations set whatever rules they want.
If you do not like it...do not purchase. While you may say this would
give others an unfair edge over you...so what? Part of life is
overcoming your weaknesses. If you can't beat a Magi or Bard without a
cube sigil....go learn how to fight better. Just because something can
easily be overcome does not mean those who make it should part with it.
There is a flip side....by setting minimum prices these organizations
leave themselves open to losing business. At some point...that may keep
them from making supplies for their own use. The way I see it....prices
will flucuate until they reach a point that most can accept.

I've said more than I wanted and probably more than may wanted to hear.
As I don't post much here, don't expect another response.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Mayan, in the year 352 AF.
