Blips and rationalizing

Well, as long as you are dropping names, lets drop a few
other blips also. Lodi, who runs around beating his breast
after exterminating gardens or subdivisions. Amal, who
enjoys visiting Minia every time he shows up.

I don't know where you got your definition for extortion, but
its certainly not a common one, except perhaps in
Mhaldor. It generally has connotations of people with NO authority
trying to benefit wrongfully in a situation. The comparison
to Mhaldor with its guards that I made is indeed an accurate
one, because I doubt VERY much Mhaldor would feel too good
if one of your citizens started paying people to NOT attack
your guards. A sign of weakness, would probably be the line
quoted there, and of course, you are not supposed to like weakness.

Of course, some people have problems with Oakstone. Some
people have problems with any organization. Tybalt did not
start exterminating because of a dislike of Oakstone.
I spoke to him immediately upon his first extermination. He
was attempting to exterminate Jhui's grove in retaliation
for an attack on him. Of course, he was too STUPID to
perceive before doing it, and destroyed an unimprinted grove.

There are people like myself, who don't look at
Concoctions as a trade skill. There are folks that do, but
have some morals and principles. There are some who have
it, with no morals or principles. The more the forest is attacked
the more people end up becoming principled or nonmerchants.
Attacking the supply is a selfdefeating strategy, if you truly
need the product, because if you succeed, you are out of what
you want. And as I have said for many years, that is what
it all boils down to for most exterminaters..STUPIDITY.

My record in defending the forest is far beyond any possible
smirch by one such as you, Coran. You can feel free to
think traitors have high morals, I could care less. Just stay
out of the forest, or be prepared to pay the consequences of your
own stupidity in becoming involved on a personal level.
