Qwilleran,

1. In what I can only describe as a lengthy, emotional and
bitter rant against our Clan and against Prythe in particular,
you seem to accuse her and our Clan of being embittered and not
able to let go. The tone in which you wrap these accusations
compels me to consider the possibility that you are projecting here.

2. If you had read my original post carefully, you would have
understood that we are _not_ asking for "protection". We will
protect ourselves. I was in fact aware that you were attacked
by a Treehugger, which partially lead me to make the comments
I made. I am not as dim as to ask for a policy that, at this point, we
cannot
commit to reciprocally. As it is, I will not be indifferent to conflicts
between our members and other forestals either, since they have
the potential of disturbing the work of both to a common aim. But
the time is not right for any codified policies on this issue.

3. Your statement that we recruit Novices is factually mistaken.
We do not.

4. I will not deign to comment on your version of the history
of our Clan and the insults with which you intersperse it. Anyone
involved in the events that happened has already formed their
opinion on it, and I do not feel it is necessary to discuss them,
most definitely not on these boards. I am available to people looking
for a, let's say, less emotional account if necessary.

5. I highly doubt that 90% of the "Forestal Community" hates us,
but it seems obvious that you do. You are entitled to your beliefs
and I see no reason to try and change them. I have learned a long
time ago to not let the approval or disapproval of others guide
me in deciding what is wrong and what is right. Some of those who taught
me
valuable lessons in this regard have been friends and political
adversaries at different points in time. In other words, should
it be true that 90% of the Forestals hate us - I will be happy
to settle for the 10% that does not.

I see no reason to continue this discussion on these boards.
