Hashan's Public Image

Dear Hashanites,

To my dismay, no one responded substantially to my inquiry, save one
paragraph of Yura's:

"You may never realise the real strength that Hashan represents. So
what?
We are what we are reguardless of how you see it. We do not conform to
an individuals perception of reality. We continue to be what we are
whether or not you recognise it."

This statement, coupled with the silence of Hashan's ruling council,
implies that your city is either so introverted and cloistered that they
could not possibly exert themselves onto the world, or that they are as
wishy washy as Twilight has led us to believe.

I had asked what your city is without Darkness' blessing, Yura; "we are
what we are" is just an inconsequential tautology. Cyrene is Cyrene, and
so what?

My inquiry on how to characterize Hashan without Darkness is fair, and
my uncertainty about what their manifesto is is well-founded. Your
culture is your business, and your public image is ours (were you
planning on opining along that route). In the absence of suitable word
on the matter, I am left with the dubious privilege of thinking what I
like. And what I think is: you don't know what you are, Hashan.

Regards,
Lord Epich D. de Vermiis

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Chronos, in the year 349 AF.
