Problems

Lord Kaelin Aristata of Mhaldor,
This is no ultimatum, merely a response.
Oakstone does not agree that a small group of individuals raiding
Mhaldor is adequate justification for extermination- we do not agree
that extermination can be justified on ANY grounds.
Extermination is not the same as attacking an individual physically or a
group economically- it is an attack on the forest itself. And while the
forestals as a whole are not bound to fight on behalf of a single
individual or on the basis of economic constraints, if the forest is
threatened we MUST take action.
I urge you to consider that your action in this matter could potentially
lead to the start of pointless and bloody war; Oakstone is likewise
aware of this possibility. Two organizations fighting and killing each
other because their principles do not mesh creates a war with no
achievable goal and no certain end. I hope that we may yet resolve this
without resorting to a conflict that can only end in bloody stalemate.
In the service of Nature,
Rhakshai Silvertongue
Hierophant, Council of Oakstone
Penned by my hand on the 20th of Lupar, in the year 348 AF.
