the red fog

Not being one who normally supports Mhaldor or the forest, or one whose
opinion is particulary important, this post might seem kinda random. But
this red fog issue piqued my interest for some reason, so I went to have
a more detailed look at the area in question. At first, things did not
look good for plants, I saw a few struggling bushes among the tar pits,
one beach completely devoid of algea. But then I walked into the forest.
The ground there is covered with poison sumac. I'm not talking about a
few pathetic looking plants, I'm talking about a thriving population,
completely covering the landscape. This plant is thriving under the red
fog, as best I could tell there is nothing unnatural about it as there
was about some of the other plant life I came across. Walking on, I came
to the beach around Claw Cove, and found the stony shoreline covered
with algae. Obviously, this algae is a prime example of the strengthened
version of plant life discussed in a past post. I fail to see, then, how
any can argue that the fog does not contain plant life, except out of
ignorance. Yes, it does contain less in certain parts, and yes some of
it is unnatural but there are those species that can thrive, it has
proven to be beneficial to the algae, creating a stronger version of the
species. Therefore, I would think the forestals would have to admit,
that it is not completely detrimental to the environment, and will, in
time, be beneficial to the plant life natural to the area. Of course, I
cannot see this happening, the forest would never agree with Mhaldor on
this. But we can all pretend like there's hope of resolution here.
