Generosity and Helpfulness

Good citizens of this great Land,

I have many thanks to pass on to various people. Recently, we in the
Jesters Guild have suffered some trying times, and it is heartwarming
and encouraging that there are still people of honour, generosity and
goodwill in the Lands.

Firstly, thank You, Lord Sarapis, and the many people who sent me
messages, for pointing out that Caryn is perpetual PK for the Jesters
until she repays the money she stole from her position of trust. It is
fascinating to see she blames the Jesters' hierarchy for this, as if we
should know that she is a thief with little consideration for anyone but
herself. Pardon us for trying to see the good in people. At least,
Caryn, you agree you are untrustworthy, and therefore agree with my
assertion that you should never, ever, again be given a position of
trust in this world. It seems to me that there is a code of honour, even
among thieves such as yourself, which would state that you do not steal
from your own guild. At least, if you're going steal from the guild, be
intelligent and get Khalid to do it for you.

But enough of that. My main reason for posting only my second ever
public post, is to thank the good people of Shallam for assisting our
small Guild against threats of attack from those who care little for our
neutrality. We are most greatful to you all for coming to our aid, and
it will not be forgotten.

In particular, Thank you to Baldazar and Dru, to the Church and to their
brethren for most generous donations to the Guild. We are most grateful
for the donations and I hope it will lead to a much closer relationship
between the two following the departure of certain individuals who would
have opposed it.

Thank you also to the many who have sent us messages of support, both
moral and financial. We are, and will continue to be, in your debt.

Jesterly greetings and thanks to you all
