Greetings Sapience,

In a recent council, it was decided to provide several addenda and
changes to the Common Law of Hashan. As all non-enemies of Hashan are
protected by those laws inside her walls, those changes will be detailed
herein.

The crime DEPRIVATION OF FREEDOM's sentence has been doubled, to a
sentence length of 2 years and a fine of 2,000 gold sovereigns.

The crime ASSAULT's sentence has been doubled, to a sentence length of 2
years and a fine of 2,000 gold sovereigns.

The crime DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY now has a four year enemy sentence.

The crime TRESSPASSING now has a one year sentence for each charge.

If one aids a city enemy entering the city, a six month sentence and a
1,000 gold fine will be charged. Ignorance is no excuse.

There is now a sliding scale for manslaughter and murder. For the second
charge of each crime, the penalty will be doubled for that charge alone.
For the third, the penalty will be tripled for that charge alone. i.e.
The fine and sentence for one charge will be 10,000 gold sovereigns and
10 years. For two, 30,000 gold and 30 years (10,000 + 20,000 and 10 +
20).

If the charge of harassment is leveled against anyone inside Hashan's
walls, it will be considered a special incident of deprivation of
freedom and dealt with on a case by case basis, but in no case will it
be less than the original charge of deprivation of freedom.
