Greetings Sapience,

It is with sadness that I have to inform you of 7 months' free PK on
Caryn, a former friend and colleague as Jester Secretary. She worked
hard to help restore the Jesters Guild, following the departure of some
notable former members and I was shocked and saddened to be told that
she had quit the Guild.

More than that, however, I was dismayed that someone who had been put in
a position of trust within the Guild had used that position to withdraw
all the Guild funds from the Ashtan Bank before she quit.

Following a recent theft of a large amount of Guild funds by Khalid,
most Jesters had been working hard to try to restore the Guild's
finances to a healthy state. It makes Caryn's theft all the more worthy
of distaste, that she would steal from friends, novices and full Jesters
alike under such circumstances.

May I use this opportunity to warn all Guilds who might consider putting
this thief in a position of trust within their Guild...do not! She
answers to nobody but herself, she is loyal to nobody, including those
who thought her a friend.

Enjoy the seven Achaean months' PK on her, and may she someday learn the
meaning of honour.
