Just because you labeled an non-existant abstract concept "the taint"
doesn't mean it ever existed. This "taint" you speak of is an illusions,
it's only your mind's perception of what was, in fact, a much bigger
event in our history than you can imagine. You removed no taint, there
never was a taint.

Your repeal of the Chaos Lords and Ladies law was only the realization
that Chaos is not a threat, that it is not a "taint" as you put it. I am
very impressed that you did repeal the law however, and personally, it
has made me rethink much of my critisism about the church. I don't speak
for everyone in that respect however.

If it seems like I'm avoiding the ophan topic, I am. I'm not prepared to
make a statement about that yet that reflects either my own beliefs, or
any of those of any organization of which I am a part. I simply wish to
point out that you only removed an unjust law, and that your theories on
the Taint were undeveloped. However, it takes a big man to stand by his
beliefs, and an even bigger man to admit when they're wrong. That, I
believe, is the step you took. And indeed, it is still a big one.
