Helping

I assure you, I choose to help people not out of obligation, but out of
my own free will.

You say a "Churchy" will always help someone from Cyrene, Eleusis or
Shallam, but rarely do so for anyone else. I have to say that's a bit
simplistic, and the person who does so isn't really showing signs of
intelligence. Every call for help, be it from a citizen of Shallam,
Mhaldor, or anywhere in between, is a different call for help and should
be treated accordingly. If the citizen of Shallam requests help to
accomplish something wrong, then I will not help. If the citizen of
Mhaldor, or anyone who follows a different path than myself, is in true
need of help, I see no reason why I would refrain from it out any of
"obligation".

having said that, will I more often than not help someone who leads a
Good life? Yes. Will I more often then not not help someone who leads an
Evil life? Yes. But that is just a matter of logic. If a fellow
established Church member calls for help, I need not worry what this
person requests this assistance for, I can safely trust them to
genuinely need it. Of course, if someone who has established themselves
as a follower of Evil asks for my help, I have to keep in mind that in
helping, I am potentially aiding his or her cause.

A case can be made that helping those who are Evil in any way aides
their cause. Point taken, though if I lived according to that, my life
would be entirely based on prejudice and overgeneralization. I live a
life of Good, and if someone who does not live such a life truly needs
assistance in a dire matter, I am more than willing to lend a helping
hand. (Keyword there was "truly")

This is my own personal choice... nothing forces me to help anyone.
