I, Althena, do pledge this Oath before Gods and man alike at the behest
of the Guild of Shadowsnakes:

Should I perform any transgression that the majority of the Shadowsnake
Officers find to be treasonous or traitorous to either the Guild or to
the city of Ashtan, I will be outguilded and I offer up of myself and
accept the fact that all of my lives will be forfeit. The Guild has the
right to punish me by death until the current Guildmaster or
Guildmistress deems that this oath is null and void.
