Ashtan is a lovely place to live!

My dear Lodi, and all other Ashtan-bashers out there,

I would like to make a concise and clear post to address your
misconceptions of the city of Ashtan. The bastion of the north
insomnia indeed a decadent city, as Lord Sartan says, a city boasting
riches and opulence beyond the imagination of those living with
the cash-strapped coffers of a city where you pay for sex, rather
than just get it for free. In Ashtan the streets are paved with
enough rats for all our citizens, and plenty of Mhaldors as I
tend to notice. In Ashtan we smile and are happy, we hold regular
referendums on all issues pertaining to the city policies, which
all citizens can vote in, and we don't rely upon our patron to
govern, because we can run ourselves. Our patron is simply that,
a patron. We are not so afeared as to build a roof over our city,
to fill it up with monolith sigils, and to beg for stronger guards.

Sometimes Ashtanites just like to kill Mhaldorks.

A lovely place to live indeed!

Mendy
