Jack, guild master of the Warlocks

To the world as We know it,
I am writing with a public announcement. The Warlocks are once again to
be without a Divine benevolent towards them. My Father is away at War
and I was asked to care take the guild while He was otherwise disposed.
jack himself asked Me if I would do so, after checking that I would not
do to them what I did to the Ashura when they deceived Me, which was
destroy their guild masters office and turn their guild master into a
maggot. I agreed not to do this as long as I was treated correctly.
Today, I have a lesson for all of Sapience. Your Matron is not your
slave! Your Matron is a blessing and you should treat Her with the
UTMOST respect, the most ABJECT humility and you must NEVER take Her for
granted. Most of all, you should not give Her orders, make demands that
only come about due to your own stupidity and then swear at her when she
does not immediately come like a dog when beckoned.
I think you will find, Jack, that I am My Father's daughter after all.
Gods and Goddesses don't make promises. They agree to look into things
and see what can be done. I hope you didn't speak to My Father the way
you spoke to Me and you can be sure that He will hear about it when He
comes back. I let guilds who have sought My Matronage run themselves. I
fix leaks in the roof of the Guildhall, give out hugs and advice when
needed, and otherwise allow things to run happily without Me
interfering. I believe in live and let live. I may not be able to fix
everything instantly, and in some cases I am not able to perform certain
tasks at all.
For Those of My brethren, whom Jack may approach with regards to
"Stepping in for Aegis" for a little while, let Me catalogue his
calamitous behaviour:
Jack demands things that are not at all allowed in the context of "the
fabric of space-time". If everything Jack wanted done was done, the very
world the Logos has created would unravel! When he is turned down for
these items, he becomes violently angry, and is very reluctant to take
no for an answer.
Jack expects a Matron to retrieve all items stolen from him. Having
spent many days being chased by a group of people, and being completely
aware that they were out to steal from him, rather than taking steps to
protect his items, he expected Me to just give them all back! This is
utterly illegal and no Patron should be doing this for any reason.
Jack expects You to dictate what Order people in other guilds who wear
Your favour should be, and that You police them and tell them not to
behave a certain way towards him...essentially he feels that he should
be granted immunity from any other guild who happens to be looked upon
kindly by You. For example, if I also happened to look after the
Dawnstriders, along with the Shadowsakes, I would certainly not tell
them that an immediate ceasefire must take place! I would, however ask
that they be tactful and mindful of the fact that I look after both, and
therefore not unleash torrents of abusive language at Me personally for
"Giving a S*** about one guild and none at all about the other". I did
not personally decree that anyone attack Jack, and nor would I ever need
to. I am perfectly capable of destroying him all by Myself as I am about
to.
I do not condone thieves. I Myself lost a hand for thievery and thus I
advise caution, care and even avoiding doing it at all if possible.
Obviously some people enjoy it, and they suffer the consequences of
their actions and become "free PK" for a week. I however will never
punish anyone who robs another person. It is not My business, whether
that person is in My Order, My Guild or My City. if My city, guild or
Order is robbed, then I am at liberty to punish, but I am not a powerful
assassin or champion, at the beck and call of an egotistical, arrogant
little dictator, deluded by the assumption that he is more powerful, and
thus at liberty to order a Goddess around!
I am not angry with the Warlocks, just Jack. I also advise My Divine
brethren to avoid patroning the Warlocks as long as Jack is guildmaster.
He is rude, abusive, aggressive and impatient. He expects the earth and
feels superior to his Patron, who he believes should bow to him as
though he is a ruler.
Sorry Warlocks, but you are alone again. This time you have only your GM
to blame.
Farewell
